If you have a suggestion or just want to comment on the site in general feel free to post away here. From time to time a member of staff may ask for your opinion on certain things in this section. If you are also confused or have a question post it here and either a member of staff or member will answer it for you.

Here editions of the Daily Prophet will be posted with in character articles to do with the activity of the site and addressing important plot lines. If you wish to submit an article please pm it to an admin who will approve it then post in the next edition. You are encouraged to submit articles keeping members up to date with the current plots.

Here staff members can find everything they need to correctly run the site. It has a password, but that's because we're evilly plotting and don't evil leaders make everything more interesting? ^.-

Being the top floor under the towers, the seventh floor is always full of students milling around trying to escape classes for that day. Few students know about a special room found on this floor that can change itself into what ever you want, but even fewer know where it is and how to use it.

The sixth floor is probably one of the most deserted floors in the school. The only class on this floor is Transfiguration and the rest of the floor is full of empty classrooms or locked rooms that not even the teachers can get into.

Like the rest of the floors the fifth floor is full of secret passageways, trick steps, and trap doors. In one corridor on this floor is the statue of Boris the Bewildered, who (to the dissappointment of the students) doesn't cover any secret trapdoors...or perhaps they haven't been founf yet.

Due to the Libray being found on this floor it is usually full of Ravenclaw students or panicked Gryffindor students around exam times. But be careful, Peeves likes to hang around here in hopes of catching any distracted students unawares.

The third floor tends to attract many students who are trying to pass the time or hide from certain professors.

Moving up from the first floor, you will find yourself on the second floor. The second floor is often flooded from one of Myrtles many temper tantrums, if your lucky though she might be in a good mood and then all you'll have to listen to is her high pitched laugh.

Leading up a marble staircase from the ground floor is the first floor. Due to the height of certain rooms on the ground floor (i.e. Great Hall) they extend up into the first floor leaving some parts of it unusable.

This is the first floor you see upon entering Hogwarts. It has high roofs, which arch into rounded points. Inside the main hall are the four large hourglasses that inform students of their houses current house points.

The Courtyard is a place where students can relax between lessons and sit and chat to one another or play Gobstones. The Courtyard is also where the Flying lessons are held to allow first years to learn how to ride a broom.

Located to the south of the castle is a large body of water and is about half a mile in diameter. The lake is home to the famous Giant Squid, grindylows, and a colony of Merpeople. Apart from a few weeks in summer the lake is usually rather cold.

The quiddich pitch is a large oval pitch with three white goal hoops on either end. It is surrounded by stands where the students sit to watch the match with sixteen towers around it were distinguished guest can watch the match. At either end of the pitches are small doors that lead off to the teams dressing and shower rooms.

This famous tree had been around for generations, no one really know how it got there, but they do know one thing....you hit this tree, it hits back!!

This shop is filled with shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable. This shop is extremely popular among the students of Hogwarts and is normally packed. Below in the cellar is a trap door into Hogwarts, only a select few people know about this.

This shop sells Quills of all shapes and sizes, perfect for those who love buying stationary.

This clothes shop is filled with robes and clothes, it’s a very famous wizarding chain store, other stores located in Paris and London. If you want the best robes this is a great place to come to.

This tiny teashop is popular among the girls at Hogwarts. It’s tackily decorated, with frilly pink tablecloths and tiny tea sets. Its been known for confetti to fall at random from the ceiling fluttering into your tea.

This shop sells and repairs magical equipment, is can be found near the end of the high street.

This pub is shabbily decorated, it usually attracts the strangest of creatures and it isn’t unusual for a vampire to be seen lurking in the darker corners of the pub. The glasses aren’t clean but they do serve very good butter beers and you never know you might be lucky enough to get served a fire whiskey.

The entrance to Diagon Alley, this shady pub be found in the back alleys of Muggle London. Most wizards just use it to walk through, but some do on occasion like to sit themselves down and have a drink, just to take a load off.

Though far from the only wizarding clothier around, Madam Malkin's seems to be the best, as it is the place where most Hogwarts students purchase their robes.

This wizarding bookshop is the hustle and bustle of the alley from first years buying their introductory books to seventh years buying advanced potions books. The store usually has book signings every other week so be sure you get in line.

This shop is crammed full of potion ingredients, the place smells awful and each shelf is overflowing with slimy strange things. This is where you come if you need ingredients for Severus Snapes potions class.

Magical Menagerie is a magical creature shop that, besides selling magical creatures, also offers advice on animal care and health. The shop is very cramped, noisy and smelly, due to every inch being covered with cages

"Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C," . If you need a wand this is the best store to purchase one from, stacked to the ceiling with boxes of wands Mr Ollivander will find you a wand.

This practical joke store is the bane of the caretakers at Hogwarts, it sells many items from practical jokes to no heat fire works. Have fun smuggling the items into Hogwarts.

The headquarters of the newspaper are held here, everything comes to and from this building. If you need to speak to an editor or writer this is the place to be. Owls fly to and from this building regularly.

This shop sells cauldrons for different types of potion making, its one of the best cauldron shops in the country. A sign reads…Cauldrons, All sizes, Copper, Brass, Pewter, Silver, Self-Stirring, Collapsible.

This ice cream parlour has seating inside and outside, it has over a thousand different flavours from chocolate chip to fire whiskey flavour.

The sound of owls screeching can be heard from the top of the street. This shop sells the widest variety of owls, cages and treats for owls. Most Hogwarts students come here to purchase their owls.

One of the most well known shops in Knockturn Alley and is suspected by many as having the largest collection of items devoted to the Dark Arts which can be bought by anyone alongside the poisons and books that are also stocked here.

The Leaky Cauldron to Knockturn Alley. The Black Widow is a small pub located in the furthest part of Knocturn Alley and is run by a witch who many have described as mad. The pub has very little lighting and has a back room which can be used for private meetings.

Mr. Slugworth can provide items like slug repellent and many other helpful and useful items for dealing with unwanted creatures invading your home. It is one of the few shops in Knocturn Alley which is not suspected of being tied with the dark arts.

This department has the offices of the highest ministry officials including the Minister of Magic, the Adviser to the Minister, the Senior Undersecretary to Minister for Magic and the Junior Assistant to the Minister for Magic.

This is the largest department within the Ministry. Arguably it is the most important of the various departments and is a combination of police and justice facilities. Offices include the Auror office, the Department of Intoxicating Substances, the Improper Use of Magic Office, the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects and the Wizengamot Administration Services

The Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes is responsible for repairing accidental magical damage. Offices include the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad, the Obliviator Headquarters, the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee, the Invisibility Task Force and the Muggle Liaison Office.

The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures is the second largest department in the Ministry. It is divided into three divisions named after the three categorisations of magical creatures: Being, Beast and Spirit. Offices include the Beast Division, the Being Division, the Spirit Division, the Goblin Liaison Office, the Centaur Liaison Office, the Pest Advisory Board and the Office of Misinformation.

The Department of International Magical Cooperation is in charge of foreign affairs and concerns itself with trying to get other wizarding countries participating and cooperate in wizarding actions both political and public. Offices include the International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law and the International Confederation of Wizards, British Seats.

The Department of Magical Transportation is responsible for various aspects of magical transport like Floo Powder and regulate its use to ensure it is used properly. Offices include the Floo Network Authority, the Broom Regulatory Control, the Portkey Office and the Apparation Test Centre.

The Department of Magical Games and Sports is the most relaxed of all the departments within the Ministry and is in charge of organising sports events the likes of the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament. Offices include the British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters, the Official Gobstones Club and the Ludicrous Patents Office.

The Atrium is the area which welcomes witches and wizards into the Ministry. In the middle of the corridor is a large statue and the corridor is full of fireplaces which allow people to arrive and leave using Floo Powder. On this floor are many lifts which can take a person to the various other departments found within the Ministry. Offices include the Lobby and Reception Area, the Security Desk and the Magical Maintenance Office.

The Department of Mysteries is a section of the Ministry of Magic that carries out confidential research and what happens here and what is located in here is a mystery even to those that work in the Ministry. Those wizards who work in the Department of Mysteries are known as Unspeakables because of the confidential nature of their work and are rarely seen or heard talking to others. Chambers include the Hall of Prophecies, the Death Chamber, the Thought Chamber, the Time Chamber, the Space Chamber, the Ever-Locked Room and the Veil.

The muggle world has a Queen who is a central person in their world, she is a great source of income to England due to tourism and does a lot to help her country. Her home can be visited by the general public and if the flag is up it means that her majesty is home.

The London Eye is a famous attraction which reaches a height of a giant 135-metres making it the tallest ferris wheel in Europe. It is great for getting a spectacular view of London for photos or even just for simple pleasure.

An attraction within London that has grown bigger and more well known over the years. Here muggles and wizards alike can come and meet their favourite celebrities, historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and famous murderers
