The Revolution Has Begun
"There's no need to call me sir Professor."
FULL NAME: Aiah Mira Black NICKNAMES: AGE: 15 BIRTHDAY: June 21, 1980 SEXUALIY: Straight BLOODLINE: Pure HOUSE: Slytherin YEAR: 5th JOB: student SIDE: Death Eater SPECIES/SPECIAL ABILITIES: patronus is a wolf CANON: no
"You don't know what I'm capable of, you don't know what I've done!"
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Aiah does share much of Addy's physicals since they're identical twins, but Aiah's physique is more fuller because she's like the good majority of her family in seeing herself better than others because of her blood purity. She was given fuller food portions and has a healthier skin tone. Aiah stands roughly 5'6" with her black hair reaching about mid-back when loose, though Aiah usually keeps it up in a simple ponytail. Being a member of one of the well known families who see blood purity as a right (and thus making them practically royalty), Aiah does keep her posture straight and near unbending. She doesn't readily show her emotions. MOST LIKED FEATURE: Her hair. Other than her Slytherin uniform, it's the one thing that helps tell the difference between her and Addy. MOST HATED FEATURE: Her face. People kept confusing her for her twin Addy, even though they're in different Houses. HERITAGE: English ETHNICITY: Caucasian
"The mind is not a book, to be opened at will and examined at leisure."
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Unlike Addy, Aiah's very confident in who and what she is. She's extremely loyal to the name and family of Black. She's very in tune to what goes on around her. Aiah's charming and usually gets her way. Even though the charm doesn't always work with the professors, Order members or not. Because of her charm and confidence, Aiah has several Slytherin friends from the 3rd year and up. She doesn't show her emotions all that readily and will deny much if someone sees her showing any sort of emotion other than the cool/calm collective exterior she exudes much of the time. Even though Aiah doesn't show her emotion to every student and professor in the school, she does show them from time to time to those that she trusts to the fullest. And those are one, maybe two, people. For the things that Aiah can't trust anyone with, she does keep a journal that she keeps hidden deep in her trunk. For being the leader of one of more larger groups of Slytherin students, Aiah does have a hint of supporting the Order. HOBBIES:
- Studying the Dark Arts
- Ignoring Addy and her friends
- Acting like nothing bothers her
DISLIKES:
- Mudbloods
- Half-bloods
- People who stand in her way
- The Order of the Phoenix
- People talking to her like she's a child and not an adult
LIKES:
- Sneaking around. Especially around Lucius
- Being the top of her class, or at least one of the higher ranked students
- Showing that she really doesn't care while hiding her true feelings
- Thinking of new ways to defy those she doesn't like. Which may not be many, but there are those few.
- Proving that she can do things on her own even though she may need help
FEARS:
- Losing her twin Addy
- Being kicked out of the Malfoy Manor by Lucius
SECRETS:
- Is planning to overthrow Voldemort and take power for herself.
- Does actually have a decent, though hidden, relationship with Adelaide
"I enjoyed the meetings, too. It was like having friends."
GENERAL HISTORY: For about the first four years of her life, Aiah lived with her twin sister Adelaide and their mother, Artemis, at her parents place. She never knew her father, though strangely enough, Aiah can remember her grandparents saying that he was no good for her mother and the two children. When Aiah and Adelaide were near four years old, Artemis took them to the Malfoy's and left them there. Aiah cried, not understanding why her mother was leaving her with family she barely knew. Growing up in the Malfoy household, Aiah learned early on that being a pureblood meant that she was better than half and mudbloods. While Aiah grew older, she hasn't really wondered where her mother had gone after she had left her and Addy with the Malfoy's, not that it mattered. In the first year or so of living at the Malfoy's, Aiah and Adelaide were nigh inseparable. That changed when Aiah and Adelaide were about eight and Aiah witnessed first hand Lucius' abuse of Adelaide. Aiah stood up for her sister at that point, but got backhanded for it. After that, Aiah stayed away from Adelaide, but gained a deep hatred for Lucius.
When they were ten, Aiah received her Hogwarts letter and was looking forward to being sorted into Slytherin. When Addy was sorted into Gryffindor, Aiah made a note to remind Addy who and what she is. But when Aiah saw Addy with the Trio, Aiah stayed away without a word. In Slytherin, Aiah easily made friends with some of the first years and managed to charm them to following her. It became clear that Aiah was a Black just by the way she carried herself and behaved. The summer between her first and second year, Aiah spent her time doing her own thing and researching the Dark Arts. In her second year, Aiah gained a few of the students and she began working on solidifying her spot in the House. By this time, she's branched out from hanging around with Draco and his muscle and made sure that her own two friends stayed away from Draco.
In the summers between her first few years, Aiah saw that Adelaide had gone from having a health body to seeming lose all that weight. She would sneak food into Adelaide's room so she could have more to eat other than the little Adelaide had at meals. But when they began their fourth year, the few times that Aiah saw Adelaide was maybe during meal times and during the double classes that Slytherin and Gryffindor House have. She begins to show interest in classes that would be considered to be for her future in a ministry job of some sort. But secretly she's taken an interest in taking the power that Voldemort has gathered for himself.
Aiah spends the following summer and school year working on her plans to overthrow Voldemort and take his place as the rightful ruler of the wizarding world. Her fourth year at Hogwarts was full of keeping things secret from her handful of friends, except for one or two fully trusted friends. Not even Draco knew of Aiah's plans. She dropped the classes that she deemed not important enough for her plans. While her family was playing the petty relationship and popularity games, Aiah was more focused on keeping her own small group together and furthering her plans while still attending Hogwarts. It's her belief that she could do a better job of ruling the wizarding world than Voldemort.
Now going into her fifth year, Aiah is more focused on her plans to overthrow Voldemort with the help of her group of student followers and the subsequent take over of the Death Eaters, Wizarding World, and all points in between.
FAMILY:
- Father: Regulus Black
- Mother: Artemis Black
- Sibling: Adelaide "Addy" Black
- Jackson Black -- 5th year -- cousin
- Issac Black -- 5th year -- cousin
- Draco Malfoy -- 5th year -- cousin
"Make way for the heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through..."
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: Aiah sat in the back of the Defense Against the Dark Arts, absolutely bored out of her mind. She hadn't planned on the lesson being from the book, and it was a double class with the 4th year Gryffindors. So that meant spending time with Adelaide. In all the years that they've been at Hogwarts, Aiah had avoided her twin the best she could. Though there were those occasions, like today's Defense class, where Aiah simply couldn't. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the class ended and Aiah packed her things, though passed her bag off to her most trusted group member. She didn't have to carry her bag if she didn't need to. She wasn't above getting dirty though. Given the chance, though, she would have someone else do the work for her and get the result of it. With a free period underway for her, Aiah decided to head back to the Slytherin common room and work on her homework. Then if she had time, continue working on her plans to eventually overthrow Voldemort.
Hours later, Aiah had stolen into the room where old school records were kept and was attempting to research Voldemort's origins. Surely one like him wasn't always that evil, or outwardly evil. She found a number of records that stated that a boy named Tom Marvolo Riddle attended and was Prefect and Headboy. There was a mention of him "performing special services" to the school.
"There's a trophy..." Aiah said softly to herself. "Could it belong to him?"
There was little record of Tom after he graduated that Aiah could find. Disappointed that she couldn't find more on this mysterious Tom Riddle, Aiah put away the few records that she found on Tom and left the room, stealing away back down to the dungeons. Suddenly, something fell to the floor with a loud clash. She froze and looked around for the origin of the sound.
"Peeves, show yourself," Aiah called out loud enough for the ghost to hear, but not draw any attention to herself.
"Oh, icky student out of bed," the ghost said, coming into view from a wall. "Shall I make noise and get little student in trouble?"
"Do it and I'll get the Bloody Baron," Aiah threatened.
She watched Peeves go silent and look around nervously. "Get out of my way, Peeves." Aiah began walking away, now waiting to get away from the area as fast as possible, knowing that Flich or his cat would be running if they heard the crash. She slowed down once she neared the Slytherin common room and entered once she gave the password.
"Reading between the lines, I’d say she thinks you’re a bit conceited, mate."

Denied We’re sorry, but we found your application unsuitable for acceptance for the following reasons - ADMINS NOTE – Hey there Addy. There is a lot about Aiah that makes her seem a lot like a Mary-Sue, so that’s why she won’t be able to be accepted like this. First of all, Voldemort would not allow such a young girl to become one of his personal followers – it just wouldn’t happen unless there was an outstanding reason for it. Not every supporter of Voldemort is a Death Eater – he only chooses those who are of great use to him. Additionally, he is the one to brand his followers with the Dark Mark, not Lucius or anyone else. Aiah can still certainly be a supporter of Voldemort, but it is unlikely that she would be given the Dark Mark at such a young age, if she were awarded with it at all. Secondly, all the talk about Slytherin “groups” and certain people having a certain number of “followers” and basing popularity off of that is incredibly Sue-ish. People can be under the impression that they are well liked by others but when they start compulsively calculating their own popularity it is a bit of a red zone. Unless you make that some sort of flaw of hers where she has a compulsion to know exactly how many people support her, it will be difficult to pull off the popularity issue without becoming Sue-ish. Another issue is the Animagus thing – fifteen year olds are very unlikely to have achieved the know-how to become an Animagus – also, you really did not touch on that fact at all in her history or give her a reason for becoming one. We already have quite a few Animagus on the site and they are somewhat rare, so we won’t be accepting any more without incredibly sound reasons behind them. Finally, I get confused about Aiah’s relationship with her twin – you say that she dreads spending time with Addy and yet she fears losing her? Develop this relationship a bit more so we can see some sort of unison in feeling towards her, or emphasize her conflict between disagreeing with her but also wanting to be civil with her because they are sisters. Over all, this application is too flawed to be accepted like this, but I think you can still make a few adjustments to the character and flush her out a bit more to make her acceptable. Give her some depth and some conflicts. Give her flaws. Right now all there is is a power hungry, incredibly popular girl who does excellent in school, has special abilities and is also a member of the inner circle of the darkest wizard known to man… and she is fifteen. That is just not believable. You may have a second chance to rewrite the character a bit and apply again, but give it some thought. If we find your application unsuitable a second time we will ban the character altogether and ask you to choose someone else to play. Thank you.

Denied We’re sorry, but we found your application unsuitable for acceptance for the following reasons - ADMINS NOTE – Sorry, but this character just won’t be accepted. There is too much of her history involved with important canons like the Malfoys that haven’t been cleared with those players, and we just can’t accept that. Also, she seems to have very little depth – her main goal is to overthrow Voldemort and there just isn’t any background explaining why that is or why she thinks she could do better. There just isn’t any motivation for her – she just appears to be incredibly power hungry, which is a bit vapid. She still appears to be a Mary-Sue character, and combining that with the godmodding in the history bit, she just won’t be acceptable for our board. Feel free to apply for another character. If you have any questions, PM a staff member.
