"You don't know what I'm capable of, you don't know what I've done!"
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Appearing slightly older for her age Brianna is considered extremely pretty with piercing brown eyes and long, wavy and silky locks of hair. She has a thin face with a pointed chin and a sweet smile. She always takes great care in her appearance in order to deal with her insecurities. Brianna has a fairly pale complexion with a hint of a tan every summer when she spends all her time out in the sun playing quidditch.
Standing at about 5'5". She has long lean legs and natural curves that make her look healthy and womanly. From years of playing basketball as a child, and then quidditch upon her arrival at Hogwarts Brianna has acquired a particularly toned body. Her arms are easily her best feature; feminine in appearance yet toned and strong giving her immense upper body strength. Brianna has a very simple but cute look. Without her robes she is usually seen sporting a very cute skirt with a solid coloured top and a trusty pair of sneakers.
MOST LIKED FEATURE: Long legs MOST HATED FEATURE:Believes her nose is too pointy HERITAGE: Irish ETHNICITY: Half Filipino - Half Irish
"The mind is not a book, to be opened at will and examined at leisure."
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Raised in a single parent house-hold Brianna is immensely loyal and believes strongly in family-ties. Raised only by her father the best words used to describe her would be tough and strong. Although sweet natured, cute and harmless in appearance Brianna's personality is far from any of those traits. She is often seen as snappy and sarcastic, making it difficult for her to acquire and keep any close friends. She never puts on a fake smile or pretends to feel anything other than what she actually feels. Brianna is unbearably blunt and honest; she hardly ever lies, not even to spare a person's feelings. The only time she would lie would be to keep herself and the people she loves out of harms way. Unfortunately for her, she has no intention of ever being mean to anyone, and is unaware of when she does it. Brianna is unable to grasp the concept of sensitivity, never being taught it, and often insults people unintentionally. Though she would never openly admit it, her inability to keep friends hurts her more than she'd like and consequently causes her to be more angry and sarcastic. Brianna is highly pessimistic and cynical, and refuses to see the best in people when they refuse to see the best in her.
A huge downside in her personality is that Brianna is very defensive, and single-minded; often to the point of recklessness. Her temper is very volatile and it would be in one's best interest to steer clear of her path when she's angry. Brianna is very headstrong and is always up for a good argument. She never backs down from a fight and has a hard time admitting she's wrong. Brianna is also a huge stickler for rules and hates breaking them.
She is aware of her beauty and intelligence but she is far from conceited. Slightly promiscuous, Brianna has a habit of using and then tossing boys. Unable to commit to any long term relationship in fear of being abandoned, she is often mistaken as "easy" although she is far from it. Brianna gets involve with guys physically and she enjoys their company, but she will never emotionally attach herself to one.
Believed to be abandoned by her mother at a young age, Brianna only had her father to rely on. Unable to connect emotionally with her, he raised her to be tough and independent. He made it so she would never need anyone in her life should anything happen to him. He also never wanted her to feel the pain of getting close to someone only to lose them like she did her mother. Brianna dislikes asking for help and believes that everyone should be able to fend for themselves. She is by no means a defender of the weak. What her father and biology had taught her at an early age was that life is based on natural selection; survival of the fittest. She works extremely hard to keep herself physically fit and mentally stimulated, and her grades are kept above average in order to ensure a stable career in life.
HOBBIES: Basketball, Quidditch and Reading DISLIKES: Onions, Crying, Losing, History of magic, Laziness LIKES: The colour purple, full moons, warm rain, potions, muggle candy. FEARS: Abandonment and Death. SECRETS: * When she was 13, she found out that her father was not her biological father. Not wanting to hurt her father, even more she kept it a secret from him since then. * She's too scared to fall in love
"I enjoyed the meetings, too. It was like having friends."
GENERAL HISTORY: Brianna's mother, Jennifer De La Cruz was born to a respectable and well-known pure-blood family in Quezon City, Philippines.. She was rebellious and disliked being told how to act and how to dress. She was very adventurous and hated feeling trapped. She rarely stayed committed to relationships and hated the future her parents had set for her. Upon her completion of her magical education, she cut off all ties with her family and moved out on her own to a little muggle neighbourhood in Dundee. Scotland There she met a handsome young man named Charles Clodagh. Jennier lied about her identity and introduced herself to him as Jennifer Alfonso; she had no intention of staying with him for long. However, his persuasive nature and promises of love and happiness won her over and she found herself growing rapidly in love with him. She kept her magical history a secret from him, afraid that he may not accept her and instead claimed that her entire family was dead. They were married within a year of meeting and after a year of marriage their baby daughter Brianna Abigal Clodagh was born.
By Brianna's first birthday Jennifer was starting to feel restless and bored. She grew tired of their marriage and of having to hide her magical abilities so she began numerous affairs with men from nearby wizarding communities. She showed no interest in her husband and even less interest in their daughter. Jennifer missed many important and crucial moments in Brianna's life like her first step and her first words. Still blindly in love with her, Charles did everything he could to try and keep Jennifer. This only irritated her more and just days before Brianna's second birthday Jennifer had packed all her belongings and moved away, leaving nothing more than divorce papers on the kitchen table.
Around the age of five Brianna began showing signs of magical ability. Initially Charles waved it off as coincidences; things breaking when she was angry, or he simply thought teacher would exaggerate whenever they told tales of things floating around her. However, her magic became hard to ignore, especially on days where it was particularly strong. Her teachers labelled Brianna a troublesome child, making life very difficult for her and her father. With no mother around to raise her, Brianna was often shunned by many of the girls in her class. However, due to her ability to cause destruction without actually touching anything, it was difficult for anyone to place blame on her without any proof. This attracted a small group of boys who liked to cause trouble. They accepted her into their group and formed close friendships with her. They defended her (not that she needed much defending) when people picked on her and they were considered her best friends.
Just after her 7th birthday something happened that made it impossible for Charles to ignore his daughter's peculiar circumstances. For her birthday he had bought her a dog whom she had promptly named Hamlet. One day Brianna was leaving her yard to him for a walk when Hamlet escaped from his leash and ran out onto the road. Without thinking she chased after him which resulted in her being struck by a car. Charles had stepped outside just in time to see his daughter's tiny body fly up into the air and crash hard into the pavement. Positive that she was dead he cried out and ran towards her only to find her, sitting straight up and rubbing her head; not a bruise or scratch in sight. She immediately stood up and stared curiously at her father's pale face. Despite her insisting that she was fine, Charles rushed her to the hospital only to be told the exact same things she had said; she was perfectly unharmed.
Bewildered, and to be honest a little scared of his daughter, Charles began his search of Jennifer, in hopes of forcing an explanation from her. He hired people to search all of Scotland and the Philippines but nobody was able to find anyone by the name of Jennifer Alfonso or Clodagh. Eventually he gave up his search and tried to live normally, his only goal in life to raise Brianna right. Months before Brianna's 11th birthday, Brianna and her father had just returned from the grocery store when they found an owl sitting on the windowsill. Attached to it's leg was an envelope addressed to Charles. Inside the envelope was a 6 page letter from Brianna's mother with a full confession of who she was, and consequently who Brianna was as well; a witch. She explained that Brianna would be invited to a school called Hogwarts and that her invitation would come by owl, just as her letter had. The rest of the letter detailed what they needed to do to prepare Brianna for her education; how to get to Diagon Alley, where to get her wand and all the needed school supplies, and how to get onto the platform 9 3/4. At the end of the letter Jennifer stated that she felt obligated to prepare them for the huge change in Brianna's life and with that she had done her motherly duty. She then asked to never be contacted by Charles again.
As promised, Brianna received her letter on her 11th birthday and together her and her father explored an entirely new world. He bought her everything and more that a first-year student would need, anxious about their 10 month of separation. He knew he had raised her to be strong and independent but she was all he had left in the world. Initially, Brianna had her qualms about attending a new school and leaving behind the group of boys she had bound herself to in Primary 1. After 6 years together, they were the best of friends; but the idea of a brand new world filled with magic and new learning opportunities excited Brianna immensely.
September 1st came around and Brianna found herself bidding her father farewell at the platform. She sat with a group of fellow excited first years, all eager to be on their way to Hogwarts. Some, like herself, had no previous knowledge of the school growing up and shared in her amazement when other children explained the magical world to them. When they finally arrived and had been sorted, Brianna tried her hardest to make friends. Unfortunately, being herself and making friends didn't really correlate well with each other. After their first few weeks at Hogwarts she found herself being left out by her classmates and felt that they were purposely avoiding her. Missing her friends back home and feeling more lonely than she would ever admit Brianna spent almost all her time studying, sending letters back home to her father and her childhood friends and involving herself heavily in quidditch.
When she was 13, she found out that her father was not her biological father. Knowing her father was still very much in love with her mother and heartbroken over losing her, Brianna she kept it a secret from him since then. FAMILY: Jennifer Clodagh (nee De La Cruz) - Mother Charles Clodagh - Father William Mckenna - Biological Father (secret)
"Make way for the heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through..."
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: While in pursuit of the falling quaffle Brianna was taken completely by surprise when the ball was instantly blasted in the other direction; something that could not have been accomplished without a wand. Nearly thrown off her broom from the unsuspected surprise she was forced to steady herself; only to be confronted by the agitated girl she had used as part of her stunt. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t the least bit intimidated by the fuming girl in front of her. She had had her fair share of fights and confrontations before - each of them landing her a detention of some sort – but this was the first time any confrontation had occurred in the air. It was very likely from the look on this girl’s face that she nothing short of willing to shove Brianna off her broom and send her plunging 50 feet to her death. Instantly a mental image flashed into her mind. It was of her own mangled broken body crumpled on the ground as she bled profusely from a massive head wound. All the bones in her legs were shattered, and her left arm snapped like a twig. It was the most gruesome mental image Brianna had ever encountered, and in fear of the image coming true Brianna cautiously urged her broom to subtly drift further away.
So wrapped up in the thoughts of her unceremonious death it barely registered in Brianna’s mind that the girl had been speaking, well bitching actually, to her. She squinted her eyes against the sun and tried her best to at least fake that she was listening. Truth be told she had no interest in what this girl was saying. Tapping her finger impatiently against the handle of her broom Brianna let out a frustrated sigh, itching to return to her morning flying activities. Instead she was being forced to listen to something could care less about. The thought of just flying away crossed her mind of course, and it was a very likely possibility by that point, until Brianna remembered her fuming companion also had a wand. She didn’t quite feel like getting hexed with her back turned at such an early hour of the morning.
Brianna raised her eyebrow in amusement at being called a little girl. When it appeared as if she wasn’t planning on opening her mouth anytime soon, Brianna blew out a sigh of relief. “Are you quite done?” she asked politely. Although Brianna’s eyes were dull and void of any emotion, she could feel her mouth spread into a somewhat mocking smile, as she looked the auburn haired girl straight in the eye. Brianna figured the best way to approach the situation was to brush it off; play it as cool as she could and not let the other girl’s worlds affect her. It’s not like she had done anything wrong; the girl was clearly unharmed and fine, just rather pissed off. Brianna had been subject to much harsher words she didn’t know why this girl even bothered wasting either of their time. Brianna was more bored than anything.
“I am so terribly sorry!” Brianna gushed in an attempt to sound at least a little apologetic. Unfortunately, her half-assed apology was followed by a rather unattractive snort as she tried to keep herself from laughing at the fuming figure before her. “You couldn’t be more right,” gripping her broom with one hand Brianna raised her other to check the nonexistent watch wrapped her around her wrist. “Didn’t realize we had moved on to bitch hour.” Okay, granted not her greatest insult, but to be fair the girl was being a bitch; and she deserved to be called out on it. Brianna studied the girl cautiously, trying to gather any information she knew about her. Obviously older than her, Brianna knew she wouldn’t last a second if it came down to drawing their wands. She was only halfway into her fifth year after all. She didn’t recognize her as a Hufflepuff. Then again, Brianna paid such little attention to everyone around her that even if she was in the same house, Brianna wouldn’t know. Her thoughts then went through the players of all the house quidditch teams. She knew everyone on each of the house teams and besides her friends, they were the only people at the school whom she could match names with faces.
Where did this girl get off calling her an amateur? Brianna had been playing for her house since her second year. She took pride in her flying skills and she wasn't about to let some actual amateur ruin that for her. All her free time was allocated towards flying and quidditch in preparation for her career after graduation and this girl had the nerve to shoot her mouth off when all she ever did was play recreationally. Had she actually been on one of the house teams, Brianna would have considered being a bit more respectful. Given that was not the case, she let her temper get the best of her. All gloves were off as she opened her mouth. “I’ll leave your precious practice set alone if that’s what you want,” she hissed defensively in attempt to mask her wounded pride “After all, it’s not like you have an actual team to practice with. What kind of human being would I be if I attempted to take away what little play time you get.” With those words Brianna began to feel her anger melt away, satisfaction taking its place. Plastering on the biggest, most annoying smile she could possibly come up with, Brianna then inched forward on her broom and flew past the girl; intentionally brushing their shoulders. “Have fun playing with yourself!” she laughed over her shoulder, excited to return to her flying.
"Reading between the lines, I’d say she thinks you’re a bit conceited, mate."

** Hii. I hope this is okay. I'm applying with a character who is kind of a combination of two different characters I RP on two other sites. My sample RP was one of my best posts on another site. I just felt like this needed to be stated in case there was any issue of plagiarism. I can verify all my e-mails & account info on the other sites to prove that they're my characters !
