Everyone has heard of (or experienced firsthand, for some) the terror known as Fenrir Greyback, known werewolf and aid to the Dark Lord. As it turned out, these were not his only evil contributions to the wizarding world. Intent on gaining more control and status amongst the Death Eaters, since the exclusive circle refused to bestow upon him the honor given to Voldemort’s best and closest followers, Greyback concocted a plan – to create a pack, large and powerful enough to rival the Death Eaters and instill fear in many among the magical community. So many powerful werewolves bonded together for the same cause would certainly become a force to be reckoned with, and so Greyback attempted to put together his pack. He had never been one to hold back on innocent victims, infecting them with the same disease that overtook his body every full moon. But as he quickly learned, the victims he attacked weren’t too keen on joining ranks with the man who had inflicted their new afflictions on them, and so Greyback resorted to the only other plan he could think of.
He knew that if he were to have followers, he would have to train them from the beginning – raise them under his roof and his rules. Greyback had never been much of a family man, but then again, this would be no ordinary family. Greyback began to sleep around, impregnating various women whom he of course had no particular feelings for. When they gave birth to Greyback’s offspring, he would watch over the children carefully, waiting until their second or third year of life before viciously killing off their mothers and snatching away his children, to be kept under his watchful eye. Upon their arrival at his “home”, each child was fiercely bitten by their father, thus beginning their new, harsh lives as young werewolves.
Each child formed their own opinions about their father, and their personalities grew and evolved nearly as quickly as they did. The eldest, Sienna, was the first to be brought home, and thus grew to be rather strong. Being a kinder, gentler soul, she grew to loathe her father and his cause, preferring to place her efforts in protecting her younger siblings, unlike her brother Damon. The eldest boy, Damon is quite cunning, and the self-proclaimed leader of the pack, under his father of course, and does his best to keep the rest of his siblings in line, though many of them protest. The next brother, Jaxsen, is a bit of a neutral figure. He focuses more on his own size and strength and enjoys anything that allows him to show off, whether it be for good or evil. Next came Hampton and Quentin – not twins as many people presume, though they look similar and are the same age. Born of different mothers, the two couldn’t be more different. Hampton is the fatherly brother of the group, like Sierra, much more focused on keeping his siblings safe rather than rebelling. He is a bit of a pacifist and does not like to cause trouble, so he mostly tries to go along with his father’s decrees so as not to anger him and put his siblings at risk. Quentin, on the other hand, couldn’t care less about his siblings or his father for that matter. He too hates his father and the purpose for which he was created, but extends that hatred to his siblings. He prefers to keep away from their entire group, pretending they do not exist and that he wasn’t born into such an alliance. Getting down to the youngest members, Parson is the youngest brother, and the resident nice guy of the pack. He treats everyone kindly and respectfully, though sometimes does not get the same respect in return, but he is most kind to his younger sister, Denali. The last of the children to join the pack, Denali grew up being taken for granted and talked down to, and therefore developed a bit of an attitude and rebellious nature. These are the seven children that Fenrir added to his werewolf pack, though of course, there wasn’t much of a pack among them, only anger and rebellion.
Though Greyback continues to prod his children, forcing them into things they’d rather not be a part of, many of them still have tendencies to fight against them. However, though they themselves run against their own father, they are still somewhat outcasted amongst their fellow students at Hogwarts, being offspring of one of the wizarding world’s most hated figures. How will their situations, both at school and at their pathetic shambles of a home, play out?
