The Revolution Has Begun
"There's no need to call me sir Professor."
FULL NAME: Christopher Michael Locke NICKNAMES: Chris AGE: Thirteen BIRTHDAY: December 1, 1982 SEXUALIY: Heterosexual BLOODLINE: Half-blood HOUSE: Ravenclaw YEAR: Third Year JOB: Student SIDE: Neutral SPECIES/SPECIAL ABILITIES: n/a CANON: No
"You don't know what I'm capable of, you don't know what I've done!"
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Chris stands at 5 feet, 4 inches tall. He has short dark brown hair, that is usually a little messed up, and brown eyes just like his father. He inherited his small nose and his slightly raised check bones from his mother. His arms and legs are relatively short. Exercising every now and then, Chris doesn't pass up the opportunity to run. With that being said, he is relatively slim, and he does have a few muscles. However, he doesn't really care about his body too much, so he doesn't try too hard to get slim. Rather, he is just fine with taking his time exercising, believing that there is no rush to do it too quickly. He would rather not overly stress out trying to change himself too fast.
Chris' skin is relatively pale, rarely tanning too much when he's outside. However, if he spends a long amount of time outside, he stands the chance to burn relatively easily. He keeps up with his hygiene, taking daily showers. He washes himself in the mornings, and never trying to rush out of his dorm in the morning. Chris does wear the Hogwarts uniform while at school, and he doesn't attempt to change it, aside from the occasionally messy tie. However, when he does get the chance, he does like to wear muggle clothing as well. He is completely fine wearing a T-shirt and jeans, preferring not to dress too spectacular, as he sees no reason to. Therefore, he wouldn't attempt to dress too nicely, unless there was a special occasion for him to do so.
MOST LIKED FEATURE: Chris likes his arms, since they tend to show the little tan that he gets while outside. MOST HATED FEATURE: Chris hates his short legs.
HERITAGE: English ETHNICITY: Caucasian
"The mind is not a book, to be opened at will and examined at leisure."
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Chris is generally studious with his classes, preferring to do the work correctly if he is able to. He has found that when it comes to theoretical work, he usually excels. However, his wand work is sometimes not up to par. With that being said, he could cast spells, but it tends to take him longer to fully master the spells than what the Professors would like. It's not like he doesn't try to cast the spells correctly, it is just that he has trouble mastering the spell. So, when it comes around time for a major practical exam, he would spend hours trying the master the spell so he doesn't fail. Failure is a word that Chris doesn't like to use much. He prefers to be optimistic, and not let his thoughts cloud his mind. He has a decent amount of self-confidence. When he knows he could do something well, he isn't afraid to show it. However, when he doesn't study, or just doesn't know something, he is less enthusiastic about it.
Chris tends to stay introverted around other students, especially those who he is meeting for the first time. Rather, once he becomes more friendly to one of his fellow students, he is more willing to talk to the other students. He enjoys watching the Qudditch matches, but he doesn't see himself playing for his house's team, rather sticking to unofficial matches between friends. He remains insecure and not confident about his playing ability. He occasionally likes to hop on his broom, and fly around a bit. He likes to be outdoors, and can be consistently found outside when it is nice out.
While he isn't a class clown, Chris does like to joke around with his friends. He finds pranks entertaining and interesting, but he always manages to mess them up if he ever tries to pull one. So, he doesn't even bother to try to pull a prank. In addition, he isn't that rebellious, usually following the rules at Hogwarts. However, he isn't afraid to break the rules if he has to. He is sympathetic to other student's feelings, and would be less likely to harm one of his fellow students. However, if he is provoked, he wouldn't be afraid to retaliate. He still wouldn't harm the other student too much, but he would attack as he sees fitting to the situation.
In his free time, Chris enjoys drawing. He has no preference on what to draw, sometimes it amounts to just a strange jumbo of lines on a piece of paper. He doesn't feel confident about his artwork at all, especially when it comes to drawing people or places around the castle. To this end, he does hide these drawings in his bag to keep his friends or his classmates from seeing his work. While his artwork is not that bad, he would rather his friends see the boring mixture of lines since he thinks that his work is not good enough to show off to anyone in the castle.

GENERAL HISTORY: Chris was born to Robert Locke and Shannon (Ellinger) Locke. Both of his parents were halfblood, effectively making him a halfblood. His father and mother both worked in the ministry. While he was a baby, he was loud, constantly crying out. Even after he would quite down for a while, he would start up again at a later point. His parents had no idea what to do with him, since sometimes he would keep his parents awake late at night. As he grew up, he quieted down, and not be as loud. But, he would still be up all hours of the night. It was when he was about one and a half before he actually stopped acting out.
After the first two years of his life, Shannon gave birth to his twin sisters, Erica and Nicole. His parents were happy that their two daughts weren't as loud as their son was when he was born. Nevertheless, he did notice that his parents were beginning to fuss around with his twin sisters more than him. He was jealous that his sisters got their parents' attention. So, he tried to gain attention back every now and then by acting out again. He tried different tactics like screaming or creating a mess, but nothing worked.
When he was four, he toppled a bookshelf to gain the attention that he sought. After almost pulling down a bookshelf on himself, Chris finally got the attention that he wanted as books rained down around him. The bookshelf thankfully didn't hit him, rather it hit a desk next to him, narrowly missing him. After his parents helped him out of the pile of books, his parents continued to give him their attention as well, along with his two twin sisters. After this incident, he didn't act out too much anymore and he learned that he shouldn't be jealous of his sisters.
When Chris started to show signs of his magical ability, Robert and Shannon told him all about Hogwarts. His parents were proud when he received his Hogwarts letter, and he eventually left on the train for Hogwarts. While it pained him to be away from his sisters, he was still excited to go to the magical school. He had been sorted to Ravenclaw, and was happy about it. He was able to recognize which classes he was the weakest at, and tried to do his best. Since he learned how to play Qudditch from his father, he tried to play the magical game with his friends as a first year. He was beginning to show signs of being a good chaser. During a game with his friends, he had to dive for the Quaffle in the air. Not realizing his location, he hit against one of the sides of the stadium hard. This caused him to get knocked off his broom, and he landed down on the ground with a broken arm and bruised knees. It was after this moment, that he now was no longer confident that he could play on his house's Qudditch team.
During his second year at Hogwarts, Chris noticed that his spell casting wasn't exactly up to par with some of his fellow classmates. For that matter, it wasn't that good in his first year. He assumed at that time that it was because he was new to magic. But, now, it was continuing into his second year. He found that he had to work extra hard to actually perform the spell correctly. On the other hand, classes that required no use of spell casting, he found to be rather easy. Now, in his third year at Hogwarts, his twin sisters were starting Hogwarts at the same time. He was happy to see his sisters come to the school.
